~~ SOUL MINISTRY ~~

I recently heard the term "soul ministry" for the first
time and it resonated so strongly that I felt compelled
to find out why.
I have long been a proponent of discovering and
understanding our soul's mission - or life purpose. In fact,
my marketing course, "Marketing with a Mission" begins
with a 30-page chapter called "Living Your Real Life:
How to Discover Your Life Purpose." I don't really see
any difference between one's personal and business
mission and I feel it is important to draw the one into the
other for a successful, joyous business.
More recently, I have looked at soul mission from a
karmic astrology perspective, and found this approach
illuminating for my business as well. My North Node in
Cancer in the 9th House explains why I love writing and
publishing this newsletter, for example, and tells me that
I'm on the right track for fulfilling part of my soul mission.

A "mission" is a task that has been assigned. I believe
that my soul, the "immaterial essence and animating
principle" (Webster) of my life, assigned the physical
"Barbara" a task to accomplish while on this Earth plane.
Part of this task is to discover and speak "my truth."
The other part of the mission became clearer when the
concept of "soul ministry" pushed my buttons.
"Ministering" simply means giving aid or service. If the
service we give is in alignment with our soul's mission, all
the bits and pieces click into place and our life and
business can take on a new momentum and sense of
sureness.
I've known for some time that part of my mission was to
help others discover theirs.
What I know now, for a certainty, is that my purpose is
also to help business owners understand the nature of
their soul ministry and to support them while they fit the
bits and pieces into place. I've been doing this for some
time now through intensive marketing consultations, but
didn't really have the language to describe the process.
Now I do.
So I've revised my "Elevator Speech" to reflect this new
understanding of my work:
"Hi. My name is Barbara Casey. I'm a marketing consultant
for lightworkers - those entrepreneurs who are working to
raise consciousness through their business. My mission is
to help them see the higher vision of their soul ministry and
to hold the vision with them through supportive teleclasses,
private consultations and networking circles."

read recently about his visions of divine forces appearing
to "spook the world into behaving better." He feels that
there are a million or so people who have been put into
place, ready to help: "healers, therapists and conscious
people who will be able to explain what is happening and

Your soul ministry might be local or global in extent. Your
service could be offered one-on-one or to millions via the
airwaves. And as you evolve, so will your ministry, and the
people to whom you minister, since we're all in this
evolution game together.
"Evolving business consciousness" isn't just a slogan...
it's a plan. If every business owner regarded their work as
a mission from their soul, how could there be scandals,
short-changing or deceitful advertising? We couldn't live
with ourselves.
